Second year Day 166 - Tuesday May 28, 2013

More appointments today with Faith.  She was able to get back to doing brain work for Bridgett and a little bit of eye work.  Bridgett does respond so very well to Faith, and I'm so glad that we found out about her.  I just wish that she were closer, or that she was always here and not gone half of the month.  If she were always here, I'd just rent a place and stay for a few months and get things under control.  But, this is the best we can do right now and I'm thankful for her and for our ability to get to see her.  Not only is Bridgett's pain level low right now, we don't need Lortab, Robaxin or even Advil!!  Yippee!!

Second year Day 165 - Monday May 27, 2013

Happy birthday Sue (my sister)!  I called Sue on the way out of town,as we were headed to Monroe to see Faith.  Mark and Tyler left at the same time we did, and we all got gas together.  Then he and Tyler headed north and we headed south. We grabbed some lunch on the way, to eat after we got to Faith's house.  Our appointments were at 1:00 and so kind of tricky for eating since we were driving since 10:30ish.  We had great appointments and its so nice to have Bridgett off Lortab and Robaxin!  Faith has the magic touch and right away Bridgett was out of pain.  YES!  We got some food afterwards and got settled in the hotel and promptly fell asleep early.

Second year Day 164 - Sunday May 26, 2013

Kind of a quiet day.  Bridgett was still in a lot of pain and not comfortable.  We brought food into the hotel so that she didn't have to go out.  I forgot that I was going to post this days ago, when her pain was really high--one night after a lot of pain all day, she said to me...."sometimes I think it wouldn't be so bad to be in a coma again, because I couldn't feel any pain."  It broke my heart!!  I called to Mark and had him help her while I excused myself to cry for a while.  Sometimes it is very disheartening to see her go through such pain, and especially when it gets to such a terrible point for her.  Her pain is high right now, but not that high thank goodness!  I'd glad that we see Faith tomorrow.

Second year Day 163 - Saturday May 25, 2013

Today we all went out to eat at Tucano's to celebrate the graduation.  We all had a good time.  Bridgett was hurting too much to want to eat much, but finally the Lortab kicked in and she ate a little bit.  After a while, she and Arri went outside walking (Arri wasn't feeling too hot either and didn't eat much) while the rest of us finished up.  In the afternoon Tyler stayed with Bridgett while Mark took care of some business and the girls and I went shopping at the mall and Target.  We had a good time and then headed back to the hotel for dinner and rest (yes!).  It has been a good trip overall so far.  Mark and Tyler will leave for home tomorrow or Monday and then Monday the girls and I will head down to Monroe to see Faith for all of next week.  I'm glad we have all week to see her.  Arri was going to spend some time in Provo, but she expected to be helping give one of her roommates a bridal shower, and those plans had to be rescheduled for now.

Second year Day 162 - Friday May 24, 2013

The big day!  Bridgett and I had to leave early to Ogden for her appointment.  Mark took Stephany to the school to get her "graduation" picture in cap and gown.  Our appointment in Ogden went really well.  Overall they were very happy with Bridgett's progress.  We did discuss her eye situation.  At this point, they are advising us to go ahead with the eye surgery.  Bridgett has an appointment at Primary Children's in July for a consult and then I guess we will talk about scheduling surgery. They said that it will probably take several surgeries (yuck!).  But, I guess they way I feel about it is this.....I didn't want them to ever do they surgery in her brain on the optic nerves, and we avoided that so maybe this will be OK.  I picked up mom on the way back through Salt Lake, so that she could come to the graduation.  I dropped her at Mike's for about an hour and then headed to the hotel.  I had time to sit for about 10 minutes, then it was time to get ready and go up to the tabernacle for the graduation practice.  I took Stephany and picked up mom on the way.  We got there and had a repeat of Arri's experience (at the same place!)....the guy forgot to show up to unlock the building, so we had to wait outside for him to show up.  It actually took him about a half an hour to arrive, so we just visited in the car with grandma.  The practice went great.  Stephany had some time to visit with Brother DeGraff and get her picture taken with him.  He and Sister DeGraff said that it was the end of an era......the last of the Noland's to graduate from Liahona!  Actually Scott and Jenn graduated from American School.  I didn't find out about Liahona until Tyler and Bridgett were in Junior high.  I can't remember when Liahona started up, but it was some time just shortly before we had kids going there.  Anyway, the kids have all graduated from there since. The graduation went great and we all had a great time.  Afterwards I took grandma back to Mike's house while Mark took the kids to the hotel.  As far as how Bridgett did....well, she was doing good all morning and then when I took grandma to Mike's the road was very bumpy.  I went slow over all the bumps I saw, but coming over a hill I couldn't see a bump until we hit it and it REALLY hurt her neck.  She almost started crying.  We got out and she walked for a while to try to get brave enough to get back in the car.  Then, of all things, we had stopped on a hill and when I turned off the engine I turned the wheel hard and when I tried to start the engine again I couldn't turn the key at all.  This happened to me once in Arri's car, but this was in my new car!  I finally called Mark, who told me to keep trying and finally I got the key turned and the wheel turned, got Bridgett back in the car and headed back to the hotel.  For the rest of the day she was very sore and when Mark showed up at the graduation with the kids, she sat for like two minutes and then had to walk.  Tyler took her out and walked and sat in the back alternatively and that's how they did during the graduation.  Bummer!  So, we are back to Lortab and Robaxin.  Can't wait for Monday when we get to see Faith again!  Oh, side notes....Jackson and Jaiden (Dave's kids) were able to come to the graduation as well and that was so great for Stephany.  Also, Deb came too.  And, at the graduation, before things started, Bridgett got to talk to both Brother and Sister DeGraff.  She remembered them both of course and it was so fun to see her with them!  They both gave her hugs and had such nice things to say.  Brother DeGraff said that he felt so honored that one of the first things Bridgett remember was the quote by Thomas Jefferson, "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and will never be."  Anyway, it was very touching to me to have him talk to Bridgett and it was fun for her as well.

Second year Day 161 - Thursday May 23, 2013

This morning Bridgett and I got up and headed to Monroe to see Faith.  We would have seen her yesterday as well if we could have made it down.  But, at least we have today before I take her to Ogden tomorrow.  We made the trip fine and had a great appointment.  Bridgett had no pain when we left and didn't have to take her scheduled Lortab while we were there.  While we were gone Arri met with Serena and Mark took Stephany to the school to pick up her cap and gown and still made it to his appointment.  Tyler left in the early afternoon to head down here.  He did call me to say that it had snowed in Montana last night (brother!).  Bridgett had a fairly good rest of the day and evening although she did finally have to take a Lortab in the evening.  She does better when we can stay in Monroe for a bit after the treatments so that things settle in.  We got Stephany's gown pressed and ready to go for tomorrow.  Tomorrow will be crazy too!

Second year Day 160 - Wednesday May 22, 2013

We hit the road a little later then we wanted--9:30, but we made good time.  We had to stop a few more times than normal to walk around, but overall the trip went pretty well.  We ended up taking two cars.  Mark and I and the girls took my car today and Tyler will leave tomorrow in another car.  He and Mark will be in Provo for the weekend and then head back to Montana.  Tyler stayed an extra day because he wanted to see Brad Watterud.  Brad is fighting Friday night and Tyler is really bummed that he will miss the fight.  But, Steph's graduation on Friday night is the most pressing issue!  So, he will visit with Brad tonight and then head down tomorrow.  We were just glad to make the trip in one swoop today and get settled in!  Tomorrow will be a little hectic for sure!

Second year Day 159 - Tuesday May 21, 2013

So, we didn't leave today after all.  One more day I guess and then we will hit the road.  Sometimes we have to be flexible.  However, we have to be there by Thursday for sure.  Mark has an appointment and Arrianne has a private voice lesson with her regular teacher at UVU.  So, we will have to leave tomorrow for sure.  Jenn and Tyler are leaving on a camping trip that they planned months ago.  They are brave to take everyone camping--two small boys and the twins!  We should get to Provo in time to see them for a few minutes before they take off.  Mark and Tyler were off trying to get some of Tyler's mowing done.  Tyler's neck is messed up too and acting up pretty strongly right now as well.  All of these neck problems!  Mark has problems from time to time with his neck as well.  Of course, they can all understand somewhat Bridgett's pain, since they have neck pain too.

Second year Day 158 - Monday May 20, 2013

I was busy all day trying to get things ready for the trip.  There's always so much to do before each trip! We had a hard time getting much done with Bridgett's program because things were so busy.  Of course, when her pain is high we also have a hard time getting much done.  However, she did do a lot of reading and that's always good for her!  We still plan to leave tomorrow, although at this point I am worried about traveling with her pain so high.  Hmmmm.......

Second year Day 157 - Sunday May 19, 2013

Bridgett's pain was so high today, she wasn't able to go to church.  Tyler stayed at home with her and I went with the girls.  Afterwards we all had something to eat and then got a nap.  I feel pretty worn out and need to get a little sleep so that I am ready for our trip this week.  We plan to leave on Tuesday for Provo.

Second year Day 156 - Saturday May 18, 2013

Today was the BERT preparedness fair at the Bigfork High School.  BERT stands for Bigfork Emergency Response Team.  Mark and some other people put the group together in order to help if there was an emergency.  There were some interesting tables and some cool things to check out.  Scott and Terry (Savage) were manning a table about basement flooding etc. and Scott had Weston with him because Jaclyn was working today.  Bridgett and I stopped and picked up Weston and brought him to the house to play for the day.  He had fun playing games with Stephany and Arrianne and even played a card game with Bridgett.  It's great to have him over!! I was hoping that it would be nice enough to burn, since it was pouring rain last time he came out to help granpy burn.  But, it was still wet and rainy in the morning and by afternoon, even though it was nicer, it was very wet everywhere!  Weston is rapidly gaining on the girls as far as height.  Soon enough he will pass Arrianne!

Second year Day 155 - Friday May 17, 2013

We've been burning slash piles at our place this past week or so.  We always did have bonfires pretty regularly at the log house, and Bridgett always loved them so, I thought she'd enjoy this.  However, initially she didn't even want to go out to see the fires.  She said that they are too noisy.  I explained that it wasn't very noisy and that she could just go check it out and then come in.  Finally she agreed to go out, mostly because she wanted to walk outside and the only way to do that was to walk by the fires!  Anyway, she then saw that they weren't very noisy and that they are kind of fun.  She never wanted to watch them too much, but she definitely didn't have to miss doing her walking because of them.  While we stood around and watched and talked, she walked back and forth up and down the driveway!  It was cute today, because usually we all walk together.  Today, she and Stephany did some speed walking and jogging while I talked to Mark for a bit by the fire.  They are super cute together!  Arri was inside doing some English (online course this summer).

Second year Day 154 - Thursday May 16, 2013

I've been thinking about trials lately.  Of course, we all have trials (at least most of us!).  Some days we all have that tendency to think that our trials are too hard to take or whatever.  Then, for me anyway, I just have to try to put things into perspective.  No matter how hard you think you have it at any given time, there's always someone who has it worse off than you do.  So, you just get through your trials, whatever they are.  It does no good to mourn or rant about them.  Still, in the end, your trials are there waiting for you.  You just need to smile, buck up and get through.  Most days that is my attitude.  Some days (probably when I am super tired or whatever) I feel a little overwhelmed or whatever.  But, it's always so comforting to know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father know our pain or frustration or whatever, and that they support us fully.  Even if no one else in the world can understand, they can.  Sometimes we need that reassurance.  Sometimes we feel that no one else knows how we feel or what we deal with.  I feel that way sometimes anyway, and I think I'm normal!!

Second year Day 153 - Wednesday May 15, 2013

I think that I comment before about the lipoma on Bridgett's back.  Michelle Helwig offered to cut it out, but at the time Bridgett did not even want to think about it.  Now it is itching and driving her crazy (in addition to the neck pain etc.) and she wants to get it removed.  I told her that when her neck is feeling better we can schedule that.  Otherwise, if her neck is hurting I don't think we need to deal with stitches, etc.  BTW Mark had a skin cancer thing removed from his back a week or so ago. It was pretty big, and has stitches etc. It is sore, but otherwise doing OK.  It was a surface melanoma and they say that they got it soon enough to not be worrisome.  GOOD!  He will get the stitches out on Monday.  We leave for Utah on Tuesday.

Second year Day 152 - Tuesday May 14, 2013

So, Bridgett's latest passion--Mario!  Of course, the kids did play Nintendo from time to time growing up.  None of them were ever obsessed with any video games.  It seemed like Bridgett played more video games after she left home.  She had lots of friends who like to play video games (especially Guitar Hero--and she was amazing at that game!).  Anyway, just since Arrianne has been home Bridgett has been asking every day to play Nintendo.  And, she's pretty good at it still!  I do think that it's probably good for her reaction time, etc. so I am just enjoying the fact that she's having fun playing!

Second year Day 151 - Monday May 13, 2013

Arrianne had an interesting comment today.  She said that when she is at school she thinks about Bridgett and sometimes gets sad and upset about the situation.  However, when she is home she doesn't get sad or upset at all. She said that when she is home, Bridgett is so funny and entertaining that she is always smiling and never sad about things.  It's true!  I hardly ever cry about the situation.  And, when I do cry (even though I don't tell Bridget why I am crying), she comes up to me and hugs me and says that she would take away my pain if she could.  Sweet!  Of course, she does have much of her old personality back---that sarcastic, funny way she has!  She can be a little saucy!  Not hard to get along with at all, just very funny and such!

Second year Day 150 - Sunday May 12, 2013

Happy Mother's Day everyone!  (better late than never!)  Today was a really nice day.  We all headed to church together.  Stephany was the youth speaker and it was so much fun to have her talk on Mother's Day!  She did a great job!  Her topic--things my mother taught me.  After sacrament meeting, I took Arrianne and Bridgett home and then Arri stayed with Bridgett while I headed back to church.  It was nice to have a little time just to think!  After church we had some dinner and then we face timed with Jenn and her family.  The boys are all so grown up these days!  The babies are so cute!  Scott gave me a call as well, and it was nice to talk to him even though we had just spent time together last night.  I got to open some GREAT cards from the kids.  Stephany and Arrianne always make the BEST cards!  I gave my mom a call in the evening and it was great to talk to her as well.  She was at a little party that Shana's mom was giving.  Shana (Jon's wife) always seems to be helping mom out a lot and that's just great.  I know everyone tries to spend time with mom and I really appreciate that, since I'm not around much.  It's been a hard and lonely year and a half for her.  And of course, it was so hard on her to lose Chris so close to dad's passing.

Second year Day 149 - Saturday May 11, 2013

So, I decided that it would be fun if we all went out to dinner today instead of me cooking a big dinner tomorrow:).  First time I've ever felt that way and the first time we've ever done it!  Mark was busy yesterday and today helping out at a retreat for the women in our stake.  I was sad that I wasn't able to attend, but I couldn't leave.  Anyway, when he was done, we headed into town and met Scott, Jaclyn and Weston and all ate at HuHot.  It was lots of fun!  Weston has his own secret recipe and he's a pro!  We all got some food and then sat down. Bridgett was done quickly and wanted to walk around (pain) and so she and I stood up where the guys cook and watched them for a while.  That was kind of fun.  Then, Mark took Bridgett outside to walk while I got to visit a little more with Scott, Jaclyn and Westy.  It was lots of fun!  We headed home in time to get a few things done before bed, including getting the flowers that Mark sent me into some water!  Thanks honey!

Second year Day 148 - Friday May 10, 2013

Bridgett continues to be super excited about her hair.  She really feels so much prettier and I'm glad she finally let me get her a hair appointment!  It was so short for so long that she's been afraid to cut it at all.  It looks so much healthier and really she does look so much more like herself (to me anyway!).  Today was Bridgett's last day on Lortab!  She had only one today (this morning) and then no more the rest of the day and none during the night last night!  Yippee!!  Now let's hope that things continue this way!  I really do think that it interferes with her mental processing although she is not doing badly.  She just can't concentrate on her schooling really.  We get some done, but not a lot.  Tonight Arrianne had a recital at the Central School Museum, along with Jim Stanard's other students.  Of course, they are more like my age and older, so she is definitely the youngest!  She of course looked beautiful and did a great job.  One of the people in the audience said that she was a rose among the thorns.  Hah!  Bridgett stayed home with Tyler and Stephany and played games.

Second year Day 147 - Thursday May 9, 2013

Today was a very exciting day for Bridgett.  She had an appointment to get her hair cut for the first time since the accident.  We got up and then the power went out for about an hour and a half--bummer!  I had to have her wash her hair at home because she definitely can't do the wash her hair in the little sink there thing.  So, power out meant no showers here because we are on a well.  Just in the nick of time the power came on and she was able to get a shower.  Sharon cut Bridgett's hair short for the first time ever when she was 16 and she donated her hair to lock of love (like 16 inches!!).  Her hair is so thick that Sharon had to put it into two pony tails!  Anyway, I took Bridgett's senior picture with me to remind Sharon.  She said that Bridgett's hair is almost long enough for that cut, but not quite.  So anyway, she did cut her hair---mostly just getting rid of any shaggy hair and giving her bangs.  Bridgett was just thrilled and so excited!!  She came home just glowing and saying how pretty she looked!  And it does look amazing!  She is looking more and more like herself all of the time (except for her eyes of course) and that's just so fun and exciting!  And, acting more and more like herself!

Second year Day 146 - Wednesday May 8, 2013

Today things were still better with Bridgett's pain.  She was able to skip a dose during the night.  She told me not to wake up her, just to let her wake up when she needed meds.   So, that's what we did.  She made it from 11:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.!  Yes!  It's good for her to actually sleep that long without waking up (not to mention that it's good for me as well!).

Second year Day 145 - Tuesday May 7, 2013

Today was an exciting day for Arrianne!  She got news that she was accepted to the summer opera program that she auditioned for.  They will put on a condensed version of Mozart's Magic Flute.  She got a lead role--Pamina!  She is very excited to say the least, and it was all the talk at home today.  We are all super excited for her, except the fact that she will be headed back to Provo in July instead of the end of August.  Of course, Bridgett was also very excited but not too happy that Arri won't be here all summer either.  But we are very happy that she got the part.  Bridgett is still on pain reliever every day, but the pain seems to be letting up finally!  We aren't doing the Robaxin any more and her kidneys will be happy about that!  Arrianne and Bridgett both had an acupuncture appointment scheduled for today, but Bridgett backed out.  She still can't face the whole needle thing yet.  Oh well, at least the pain is easing up!

Wednesday, May 8, 2013

Second year Day 144 - Monday March 6, 2013

It's all of the sudden very warm and nice here.  I wonder what happened to spring!  We seem to have gone from winter to summer!  Right away this morning, early,  Bridgett asked to go outside and walk.  She loves walking outside.  Of course, this is the time for us to watch for bears around here.  So, I called down to Tyler and asked him to go out with us. He said OK and headed upstairs and said he was ready to go.  Bridget said....you're not EVEN ready to go, Mr. pajamas and no shoeser!  She comes up with some funny things to say!  So, tonight we all went out for family night and did some year clean up.  My dad used to kid Mark and him cleaning up the forest--but that's what we were doing.....going around a moving branches, etc. to burn piles.  Tidying up that forest!  Bridgett couldn't help because of her neck, but she spent the entire time walking up and down the driveway.  She put on quite a few miles today, because she was out walking like four times before family home evening plus that time walking for like 45 minutes or so.  Finally I went inside with Bridget and Stephany. Stephany still had schoolwork to finish.  It feels great to be outside again!

Second year Day 143 - Sunday May 5, 2013

Cinco de Mayo today  I saw a funny sign that said drink and drive on Cinco de Mayo---spend seis de Mayo in jail!  Today I stayed home with Bridgett while Mark and the girls went to church.  Mark didn't have any early meetings or any late meetings, so he drove the girls, stayed with them and brought them home.  One car at the church!  They were late...Mark hates that!  But, sometimes its unavoidable.  Arrianne was running around trying to find all of her stuff in various different boxes.  Bummer!  She needs to take time to unpack and repack things while she's at home.  Last Sunday was a little crazy that way too.  It reminded me of when we got back from Utah last May.  The first Sunday I went to help lay out clothes for Bridgett and realized that we hadn't unpacked any of her Sunday shoes.  I went on a big search to find heels for her and it took quite some doing.  Of course, back then she was a little shaky on heels.  She's much better now and really doesn't have any problem unless she has on her very high heels (yes, even though she's tall she has some very high heels!).  Of course, Arrianne and Stephany have some really high heels and love them.  I used to wear really high heels too.  Mine are pretty moderate now, but I do miss really high heels.  I might have to break down and buy another pair sometime!

Second year Day 142 - Saturday May 4, 2013

Today was a hard day for Bridgett and she was in a lot of pain.  She didn't even smile when Tyler tried to cheer her up, and that's unusual for her.  Finally, she gave this little weak smile and Tyler said, see, there's your smile--you're happy now!  Bridgett said, that wasn't a smile.....it was just a facial movement!  Gotta love it!!  It's about 2-1/2 weeks until we see Faith.  I was just looking at our Marriott rewards for this year.  We've had 72 nights this year alone and it's only the first week of May.  Lots of being on the road!  I think I should be looking around for a small apartment to rent--it would definitely be cheaper!

Second year Day 141 - Friday May 3, 2013

Quite a while back when Bridgett was having lots of pain, I was suggesting different things that she could do to get rid of the pain.  Several of these things were things that she did NOT want to do.  One of them was acupuncture, but remember that she got that huge bruise and then she didn't want to do it again.  Anyway, I said it might help get rid of the pain you know and she said......dying would get rid of the pain too, but I don't want to do that either!  Hah!

Sunday, May 5, 2013

Second year Day 140 - Thursday May 2, 2013

I just found a little note where I wrote down something funny Bridgett said.  Her hands were soooo cold and Tyler said something about it and she said......I just don't accept heat well!  Hah!  I just need to stop and write more funny things down that she says!  She keeps us smiling and laughing, even when she is feeling terrible.  The neck pain continues.  Today Arrianne had an acupuncture appointment in town.  Bridgett wanted to ride in and then go with Arri afterwards to the mall shopping.  Stephany didn't have enough energy to go into town and still get her school work done.  She was crying when I left (sad!) and Mark was with her.  We had to leave because we would have been late otherwise.  Anyway, we made it about 14 minutes and then Bridgett thought she was going to throw up.  We pulled over and I tried to call Mark to come and get Bridgett, but he was on a business call and didn't answer.  I finally called Sara Marie and said we were going to be late and explained the situation and she said just come when we could.  We were stopped for about 12-15 minutes, then drove another 12 or so minutes and she again was going to throw up.  We stopped again, this time for about 20 minutes and then tried for the last leg of the trip.  We finally made it to Sara Marie's and we were stopped there for like 35-40 minutes before leaving.  Still she thought she'd throw up.  I had called Faith and she told me a different homeopathic to get for nausea called Tabacum.  I stopped at Witheys and they had it.  We sat there for another 20 or so minutes and then we actually made it home without stopping!  I guess that stuff really works!  What a trip!  Of course, we didn't get any shopping done, so that will have to wait for another day!!

Second year Day 139 - Wednesday May 1, 2013

Arri got her grade report and had all A's again!  Yippee!  She really does work hard and I am very proud of her!  She of course passed her Sophomore review with flying colors (A).  Now she can relax a little.  She starts an online course next Monday, so she has a few rest days before then.  Bridgett's neck is still terrible.  I am sleeping in her room at night.  It makes for a long night.  First we have the times getting up to take Lortab.  Also, she wakes me when she needs to roll over, because she can't move in bed without help.  She wakes me if she needs to get up and walk or go to the bathroom, because she can't get out of bed.  Before I came to bed tonight I gave her the phone to call if she needed anything.  She called three times..  first to roll over, second to get up to the bathroom, and third to tell us that Jake was barking and needed to be called in.  HAH!  She's a funny!  Stephany is still exhausted.  Faith wants her to do a homeopathic clearing to get rid of the chronic fatigue she has.  However, she is so busy with school right now, she doesn't dare take off time for a five day clearing and feeling miserable during that time and then about five days following until she feels good again.  Her body wants to feel good, and hopefully we will finally get it under control by sometime this summer.  When she was a baby and almost died, we had many months of sickness and many months of healing.  So, it's not like she's a stranger to this.  Sad!

Second year Day 138 - Tuesday April 30, 2013

Bridgett woke up at 4:00 a.m. is terrific neck pain.  Tyler ran upstairs to get me and I headed down to take care of her.  I gave her Lortab and then Tyler and I walked with her for about 90 minutes, giving her mag phos, rubbing her neck, and putting the rice bag on.  Eventually we woke up the girls accidentally.  Bridgett was trying to be quiet, but the pain was so severe that she would sometimes yell out.  Finally I got her back to bed, after a second Lortab and some time passing.  It was a very bad day all day.  The pain was ridiculously high.  Her neck is in a huge spasm.  I guess it was the Foosball game that did it  I didn't think it would hurt.  Her arms are not raised.  It seems like anything can set this spasm off again, and frankly it is discouraging, especially to Bridgett, I know. She doesn't really whine and complain too much, but when the pain is so high, she almost can't help it.

Second year Day 137 - Monday April 29, 2013

Today the girls all had a great time together.  Arri was exhausted yesterday, but had more energy today.  I had played  a game of Foosball with Bridgett on Saturday and she beat the socks off of me.  I used to actually be able to play:).  Anyway, she beat me 10 to 0 and I didn't have a chance.  Today she played Arri and she beat Arri 10 to 8.  Arri was ahead but then Bridgett got 4 in a row that Arri didn't even have a chance to respond to!!  Bridgett was pretty happy about it!!

Second year Day 136 - Sunday April 28, 2013

This morning we all got to go to church together (except Tyler, who is in Helena still).  Bridgett made it through all but the last 20-25 minutes and then had to walk around because of the pain.  She is having some pain that is not too high yet and the Advil is enough to take the edge off.  While we were walking we saw Scott Reichner in the hallway and talked to him about eye surgery.  Several of his kids have had eye surgery and Jill will also be having surgery soon I guess.  After the meeting, we found Jill and spoke to her as well.  They really like Dr. Murdock in Missoula.  He is the Dr. that I was nervous about taking Bridgett to.  Perhaps we will call and take her in for a consult, and then see the Dr. in Salt Lake and then make a decision. I am just very leery about doing anything that will cause further problems for Bridgett.  Waiting for recovery is fine, but also we are getting out there time wise, so perhaps it is time to do something??

Second year Day 135 - Saturday April 27, 2013

Mark and Arrianne stopped by Jenn's house after finishing up with cleaning Arri's apartment.  Jenn has strep throat and mastitis:(.  Tyler had strep on Monday I think and now she has it too plus the mastitis.  Poor girl!  I wish I was there to help.  Mark and Arri held the babies of about an hour while they all visited.  Luckily Jenn got some meds and is starting to feel better.  Finally, Mark and Arri just needed to get on the road and start that long drive home.  They are towing Arri's car, luckily, because she is exhausted and would have had a hard time staying awake to drive.  She slept some on the trip and they made it back safely about 9:30.  Bridgett was ecstatic to see Arri as were the rest of us.  It's so great to have her home for a while!!
