Third year Day 128 - Sunday April 20, 2014

I was really looking forward to going to church today, but Bridgett woke up with terrible kidney pain again, and her neck was hurting as well.  So, today was a day for quiet reflection at home about the atonement and the resurrection and what they mean to me personally as well as everyone else.  I am so thankful for my Savior and for the sacrifice that He made for me personally, for my family and for everyone!  I love my Savior so much and I am ever grateful to Him for my chance to repent and be redeemed.  The events in our life regarding Bridgett's wreck have brought more forcefully to my mind the fact that Christ suffered not only for all of our sins, but also for all of our pains and afflictions.  It is through the atonement that we all have the opportunity to return to live with Him some day, with perfected bodies and minds.  This I am so thankful for.  We had a nice day together and we were able to talk to Arri, Jenn and family, and Scott and family.  How we love each of them and miss them all!  Afterwards we sat around and remembered things from the kids childhood about Easter specifically and then just about other things.  It seems that on some things, like holidays, Bridgett remembers a fair amount now, so that is encouraging:)
