Second year Day 340 - Monday November 18, 2013
There wasn't really time to figure out what to do for breakfast today, so we had room service. I'll worry about getting a better plan tomorrow. Actually the room service was pretty reasonable; two scrambled eggs for $4. Not bad. Stephany was even able to get some yogurt. It's only 0.8 miles to Faith's office from here, so we decided to walk and see how that would go. Actually, since we've all been walking so much more, it was a piece of cake. The walk was nice and our appointments went well and we then walked back towards the hotel, stopping on the way to grab some lunch. Everyone was tired from the appointments and we got naps afterwards. We had enough lunch left to eat it for dinner. I don't have a microwave here, but I had requested a fridge, so that's good. The hotel is awesome. It's a historic building that they renovated like two years ago. It's owned by Wyndham corp. There are 12 foot ceilings and granite desks in each room. The beds and pillows are heavenly. The lobby is beautiful and luxurious. It's like a really nice vacation for us! I spent the evening with a map of the downtown, googling menus and getting a plan for the week. It's cool because many of the restaurants are health conscious and offer vegan and gluten free options. NICE!
