Day 172 - Sunday June 3, 2012

After church we were all in the dining room playing games.  Arrianne got up to stretch and did a little Irish dance step.  Then Stephany and Arri started discussing Irish dance.  Next Bridgett said can I do some Irish dance and got up.  We all raised our eyebrows and watched to see what would happen.  (I should insert that when the girls started dancing, Bridgett started too)  First of all she did 123's.  Then she started saying part of a dance that the three girls learned the first year they danced....cut 123, hop 123, hop point, hop back, hop point, hop back, jump 234567, jump change 234567.  This is how they call out the steps doing first the right foot and then the left.  Then she said that she wanted to dance it and so she walked it through with Arrianne (twice) while I recorded it. I was so amazed that she remembered that from when she was 14!  She danced for only a couple of months, then that is the year that she got really sick and she was unable to dance anymore.
