Day 192 - Saturday June 23, 2012

This morning while I was driving to Stevensville to get Stephany Bridgett and Arrianne watched the Man from Snowy River on the TV at the hotel in Missoula.  Bridgett hasn't really watched much of any movie and she didn't watch all of this movie either BUT she made the comment that she liked this movie because it was set in Australia.   I was very excited that she realized that fact.  Also, it made us all happy because Bridgett has always loved Australia but ever since the accident she hasn't remembered that at all.   Now, suddenly she remembers that she has always wanted to go there.  When Bridgett was in a coma and we were talking to her trying to wake her up the respiratory therapist told us to promise Bridgett anything she'd really want if she would wake up, because he said she will hear you.  You've got to motivate her to wake up he said.  Anyway, we said Bridgett please wake up and we will take you to Australia.  Then when she finally woke up and all the time until now she has said she doesn't want to go to Australia.  So, this is another happy moment that our little Bridgett is really in there somewhere! We saw a bunch of cyclists on the way home from Missoula; apparently they were having a race.  Stephany said to Bridgett....who in our family is a cyclist and Bridgett said I am.  Stephany said do you want to ride your bike and Bridgett said yes but not where there are any people around so I don't get hurt!
