Day 231 - Wednesday August 1, 2012

Well I just heard this story from reunion....and I need to verify it before I get the entire story right.....but apparently one of our relatives has a friend who was one of the first responders at Bridgett's wreck.  I'll say it again...it's a small world!  Anyway, apparently at the scene they didn't think she would live at all and so he was so surprised to hear that she was alive and doing so well.  They figured that if she lived she would be in a permanent vegetative state.  Of course, that's what they were telling us when we were in the ICU as well.  Anyway, I thought it was a good time to post the glasgow coma scale.  Remember that hers was initially 3 and that she was not breathing or anything on her own.  The doctors told us that a rock has a glasgow coma score of three.  When I get the full story I will post it.
