Day 257 - Monday August 27, 2012

Arrianne had her first day of classes today.  While she was in class Bridgett, Stephany and I went shopping!  We hit some craft stores and bought some great things that we will work on when we get home.  Actually I was originally thinking that we would make something while we were here, but it turns out that Arrianne had some of Bridgett's things in her apartment that need to go back home with us and there won't be any extra room to make sure that crafts don't get squashed!  I called Michelle Helwig's office and left a message about how bad Bridgett's neck is doing still--pain level is three or higher all the time with taking Lortab and muscle relaxer and then goes up to five or six when the Lortab is wearing off.  Michelle called and spoke to Dr. Lindsay and one of the nurses called me back and said when we get back to Bigfork to come in for a cortisone shot. YUCK!  We have been trying to avoid that!  Luckily we finally heard from Josh and he was able to meet us and give Bridgett a much needed massage and VIOLA--her neck pain is now so much better!  We will now call him "magic fingers" Josh!  Josh was able to release the spasm I guess because her pain level went almost completely away--like to zero. Then she moved her neck around a bunch and said oh I guess it's a one. Hopefully he will be able to fit us in for at least one more appointment or preferably two.  Too bad he doesn't live in Montana!  Jenn, Tyler and the kids came to the hotel and went swimming with Stephany.  Bridgett and I popped our heads in but it was too noisy and "stinky" (chlorine) for Bridgett so we went to the room until they were done.
