Day 249 - Sunday August 19, 2012

Bridgett was even worse today and so I called Michelle Helwig.  I didn''t want to disturb her at church but I needed to try to get a hold of her.  Her answering service said that they would try her and I said not to disturb her but leave her a message.  They said if she didn't answer they would have her call back.  Then when she called back she apologized for being in church and said her phone was accidentally off!  I said I didn't want to bother her during church anyway so it all worked out.  She called in a prescription for a Medrol dose pack and we got started on it right away.  By  evening Bridgett was starting to get some relief--thank goodness!  We are pretty much back to where we were (pain wise) when we first got back to Montana.  It's so sad to have her whimper in pain--although if you ask her how she is doing she says except for the fact that my neck feels like a horse is kicking me I feel wonderful.  (today she added that it feels like a horse AND a cow are kicking her)  She says it with a big smile and she means it!  Bridgett really can teach us all to bear our afflictions with patience, a wonderful attitude and a smile!!  Michelle told me to call her tomorrow and keep her updated on Bridgett's pain level.
