Second year Day 292 - Tuesday October 1, 2013

Today is our day to get packed and ready for the trip.  There's a lot to do of course.  Stephany is eating grain free right now so we are planning on bringing food for the car (which we usually do) but also cooking in the hotel room.  I have ordered a George Foreman Grill and I will make some grain free muffins before we leave tomorrow.  Also, I have some grain free biscuits that we made today for dinner tonight.  I have the ice packs in the freezer ready to go.  Also, we needed to be ready to bring Arrianne her snow tires and there's no room in the car.  After discussion, I remember that I've seen people with those platform trailer hitches and I found one on Amazon for only $123.  I ordered it yesterday and it thankfully showed up today.  Shawn at work got it unpacked, put in the four bolts and attached it to the car.  It supposedly only weights 42 pounds, but will hold 500 pounds!  I am hopeful that it will work out wonderfully!!  Mark will attach the tires tomorrow before we leave and then hopefully Tyler Fenn will be able to take them off before I check into the hotel tomorrow night.
