Second year Day 344 - Friday November 22, 2013

This morning we had appointments and then we went to the Olympic Training Center in the afternoon. I'm glad we waited and didn't go yesterday, as it was so cold then and much more moderate today.  Although there was snow on the ground, the walks were clear. It was a great experience! The girls and I just loved seeing things there. First there was a movie that lasted 12 minutes. I was worried about whether or not Bridgett would be able to tolerate it, with the loud sound, but she did great! She LOVED it. Of course, she always dreamed of the Olympics, and had set her sites on trying out for the Olympic Rugby team. I don't remember when rugby is supposed to be in the summer Olympics but Bridgett used to know for sure. I should ask her if she remembers! Anyway, we went on a tour of the facility and we saw athletes training, which was fun! We saw the mens wrestling coach, who was an Olympian himself. It was just us and two other people on the tour, so we got to ask lots of questions. The store was great and we bought everyone a shirt with Olympic graphics on it.  The girls are feeling great and this has been a good trip for appointments!
