Third year Day 8 - Saturday December 21, 2013

There are so few days until Christmas and still some things left to get done!  Luckily I did most of my shopping online this year, and almost everything has actually arrived.  Today I got the girls to help me get things wrapped and finally we got some presents under the tree.  I had them help with other family members presents....Bridgett and Arrianne helped wrap Stephany's etc.  It was great to get that taken care of!  It's so fun to have Christmas music playing and the lights on in the house and on the tree!  We all love Christmas time! We always do a gingerbread house together.  We used to let each of the kids make individual graham cracker houses and additionally we would put together a kit.  Since the kids have been bigger, we just do the kit.  This year I didn't have much shopping time in town, so Mark picked up the kit at Costco.  The kit actually had the house pre-assembled and you just decorate it.  Stephany was sad, because she likes putting the house together.  Today I told her that it was a good thing that the house is already assembled because it's almost Christmas and she still isn't feeling too good.  Things seem to work out in the end.....
