Second year Day 351 - Friday November 29, 2013

Today Arrianne said, the week is going so fast!  I know! I hate that!  But, it's not long until Christmas break!  She said, well that's a scary thought because that means that finals are just around the corner and there's not much time to have everything done!  True!  We did lots of just visiting and resting today.  Later on in the evening, the power went out!  I hate that!  We grabbed the flashlights and lanterns and spent the rest of the evening in the dark more of less.  Mark and I decided that Bridgett had better sleep up in the extra bed in our room, so if she awakened in the night and the power was out, someone would be around to help her to the bathroom.  Of course, it was also getting chilly in the house. Mark started a fire in the fireplace pretty quickly, and also a fire in our bedroom fireplace, so that we could keep it warmer.  He tried starting one in the wood burning stove downstairs, but it's been several years since we've used it and in the dark he couldn't get the flue opened up correctly, so mostly he just smoked up the downstairs and then quit!  Stephany and Arrianne were so funny!  They said the smoke was like fog, so went into the bedroom and dressed up like detectives and talked with British accents!  Hilarious!  The power was out for quite a few hours, but we were all bundled up in our down comforters as we slept and kept fairly warm.
