Third year Day 116 - Tuesday April 8, 2014
We ran to Harvest Foods in Bigfork to get some last minute things for Bridgett's birthday dinner and a gluten free cake mix. I could make one by scratch, but don't want to waste energy on that right now. Bridgett wants her favorite...Fettuccine Alfredo, with chicken. We make it gluten and dairy free and I luckily have a great tasting and easy recipe for the Alfredo. Luckily Bridgett likes most of the gluten free, dairy free items we buy and there are no complaints. However, I did have Bridgett and Stephany have an allergy blood test and we are awaiting the results. Bridgett seems to always have a stomach ache after eating and we need to figure out what else is bothering her besides gluten and dairy. Actually, Stephany's came back yesterday and so that was important for her. She has been eating eggs and beef and is allergic to both, in addition to the other things we already knew about. Also, this time she is allergic to yogurt and she has been having yogurt and kefir daily. So, hopefully a change in diet will help her feel better. I also hope that Bridgett's test results come back soon! I sent an email to Jen Hawes to check on it . The lab said "Bridgett’s testing is being repeated for confirmation of accuracy," whatever that means!
