Third year Day 118 - Thursday April 10, 2014

Bridgett got a letter today from Ashley Sayre, her cousin, who is serving a mission in Romania.  Actually, she is on her first assignment and is in Moldova right now.  Bridgett, Arrianne and Stephany have been quite close to Ashley and her sisters, Heather, and Emily over the years.  They are the daughters of my only sister, Susan.  When Bridgett lived in Provo and was lonesome and homesick, she would often drive up to Susan's house and spend the weekend.  This would ease her homesickness and really help her out.  Bridgett was so excited for Ashley to go on a mission and promised to write her, just as Ashley promised to write Bridgett.  After reading the letter, Bridgett immediately started writing a letter to Ashley.  Actually, at this point Bridgett doesn't like her handwriting and says it looks like a child's handwriting.  Really it is pretty legible, but she doesn't like it.  I keep telling her that its fine and as good as many people's handwriting.  Finally she said to me, ok, maybe it's not like a child's, but it's like mine as a child!  Haha!  It is getting better all of the time, and hopefully some day it will be back to normal--or at least good enough that Bridgett is happy with it!
