Day 260 - Thursday August 30, 2012

For those who are wondering....Jenn had her ultrasound and she is having twin boys-fraternal.  Fraternal twins are apparently the kind that are hereditary and there are sets of twins in our family--both on my side and on Mark's.  So, I guess that means that there could possibly be more twins some day in our family!  It was all exciting news although Bridgett was holding out for twin girls (as were some of the rest of us!).  We had another great appointment for Bridgett today with the brain processing experts; the last time we saw them was in May just before we came home.  She was tested on various things and she did just great! She tested in the top 1% of the population on a visual processing test! They were very excited about how well her eyes were doing and they were amazed with her progress overall.  They will get a new protocol ready for us to be doing for the next three months.  Based on their testing, they believe that Bridgett will make a full recovery and be able to do anything she desires.  We of course have always believed that but it is always good to get an opinion from others that deal with these issues on a regular basis.  We drove back to Provo feeling elated and then we hit the BYU football game traffic; still I was so excited even the bad traffic did not dampen my spirits.
