Third year Day 67 - Tuesday February 18, 2014

I forgot to mention that some of the link on jenniferfield.org are no longer working.  I'd just love to be able to get a hold of her mother and talk!  Support!  I really appreciate any support I can get, from everyone of course, but definitely from those who have "gone before" us.  There are so many questions that just can't be answered by a google search!  Today Bridgett wanted a straw and went to the right drawer and found one right away.  That doesn't seem like a big deal to you, but to us it is!  She remembered where the straws are!  This is not a long term memory from before the wreck but rather this is a memory from now--it has taken many times of doing the same thing to finally remember it.  Many people tell me that routine is so important with TBI patients and of course, we have found that to be true!  Some things Bridgett has as a routine that she remembers from before the wreck.  Some things she has established a routine now and remembers that routine.  Some things are still ahead to get a routine, I'm sure.
