Third year Day 91 - Friday March 14, 2014
The best thing about having the stitches out...no more bandage on the incision!! That bandage was really bugging Bridgett, even though we changed it twice a day. It was itching and actually causing the skin to be irritated, red and bumpy where the adhesive was. And these were bandages for sensitive skin! I forgot to tell you that after the stitches were removed, Bridgett and I went to Walmart to buy some yarn for an afghan. I let her completely pick out the color, although I was holding my breath that she didn't pick out ugly colors:) She finally picked out some variegated yarn. Now, usually I kind of don't like any variegated yarn, but this one is really cute! The color is called bikini(?) but its actually a bunch of bright colors together: yellow, orange, pink, blue, and green and reminds me of play dough! It will be fun for her to make and really cute I think. We kind of put it away until her back is feeling better; it's still sensitive although much better than it's been!
