Day 163 - Friday May 25, 2012

Today we went to town and saw some old friends,Vern and Dorothy.  On the way into their house I was asking Bridgett if she remembered them and she said no.  However, then she went on to tell me things about them, so obviously she did remember something!  Dorothy worked on Bridgett using a QXCI Machine and Bridgett remembered about the machine.  We had a good time visiting with them and some reminiscing about old times.  I told Bridgett that I was taking her to see the log house afterwards to see if she remembered it. She said she did remember and she began to tell me all about the house.  First she said the house has three floors...right!  Then she told me what rooms were on each floor.  She forgot about the laundry room at first, but then remembered when I prompted her a little.  When we drove to the shop (our business) parking lot first and she saw it she said there's the shop. I had called Scott and he met us outside and got the rice bag and reheated it for our trip home (we now leave the house with the rice bag hot and try to get someone to heat it before we come back So it was fun to see Scott and Bridgett got out of the car to give him a hug.  We could look over across the field and see the house and Bridgett liked that.  We talked about the house and our pets for a while.  She remembers all of our dogs and their names.  We then drove down the road and talked about the people that lived down the street when we lived there.  When we got home there was a message from Aunt Jean.  She asked if they could come and visit Bridgett.  After listening to it I said to Bridgett that was Aunt Jean and I replayed it and let her listen.  Then I said who is Aunt Jean married to and she said Uncle Harley!  Right! That was fun.  Later on in the day I waved a funny little wave to Bridgett and she said what was that?  I was trying to wave to you.  She said that's not a real wave.  I said I should have done the princess wave from Princess Diaries and I was trying to remember how that went and she showed me!  She said like this, not like that (like how I was doing it).  Cute!  Like I said she remembers random things!
