Day 164 - Saturday May 26, 2012

This morning Bridgett and I had to run into Bigfork and she was sitting in the front seat looking out the window and said to me, you should wash your windshield because there's stuff on it!  Funny!  I thought that it was good that she is noticing small things though!  Also Bridgett has become very conscious of traffic and what is happening around us.  She has started asking me how fast we are going all the time, even though I don't speed.  And when I pull out from anywhere she reminds me to be careful so we don't get in a wreck.  She says she doesn't ever want to be in the hospital again. We agree on that! Also she asked me to turn on the radio please and see if there were any good songs.  On one station was Poker Face by Lady Gaga and she said stop there and sang along.  It was cute!, I talked to Dorothy yesterday about Bridgett getting her ears pierced again.  I said I had been thinking that there are so many pressure points for the brain in the ear lobe, perhaps it is best to wait on that.  She agreed and said there are also many for the eyes.  Also, she commented that it seems that ever since Bridgett got her teeth fixed, her healing has been accelerated.  I totally agree!  That's one reason why I was talking to all the doctors about doing something while she was in the hospital--I was worried about her pain level being so distracting that it would be hard for her to concentrate on other things.  Just think what it must have been like having exposed nerves in three teeth for almost four months and although they did cover them as best as they could--the pain was still there. Anyway, it was so good to get that done.  Also, I think things are getting so much better since her eyes are healing so much.  I think she looks great and I look back and think how much she has healed already.  Besides the healing in her brain, the facial palsy on the left side is pretty much all gone, the teeth are fixed, her eyes have lost most of that wide eyed look, the wounds on her face have healed up so nicely and the scarring is minimal at this point, her nose is looking better and her left eye is not nearly as crossed as it was.  So, all around she is looking so much better.  Her hair is looking so cute, although it was cute when it was shorter too!
