Second year Day 248 - Sunday August 18, 2013

I got up by 6:30 and started packing.  There's always so much to bring!  Make sure we have Bridgett's neck brace for in the car, and Zofran for the trip in case she gets sick (and she did get sick this time and have to take it).  Other medications like Lortab, plus vitamins.  School work for Bridgett, plus all of the other stuff....it's a long list.  Anyway, we were finally packed, had eaten breakfast, Mark got the car loaded for us and we were on the road by 10:00.  It was the longest trip!!  Bridgett was having kidney pain and some neck pain as well, so we ended up stopping eight times!  It was frustrating for the girls and by the end of the trip everyone was a little short.  I was tired and so glad when we finally checked into the hotel.  Everyone was just glad to get out of the car and be able to drop onto a bed!  We stayed in a different Marriott than we usually do, but it worked out alright.  Apparently August is the worst time to get a hotel in Provo, because of Education Week, camps and then students coming to school.  We have some things to take care of in the morning and then we are back on the road to Monroe by 11:45, as Bridgett's appointment is at 2:00.
