Second year Day 251 - Wednesday August 21, 2013

We are all enjoying our appointments and they are going well.  It's nice to have Arrianne with us this week, and she is enjoying spending some days with us before we head back to Montana.  Also, she is enjoying the last few days before class starts and things get BUSY.  It's so fun to have her around to spend time with Bridgett.  They have a very special bond.  Just Monday when I was taking Arrianne around to get a few last things, we were headed to Walmart.  When we came to a stop light, Arri thought I would be turning (by the Krispy Kreme Donut place) instead of continuing down University Parkway.  She said that's what Bridgett always did, turn at that light and go around the block.  I had one of those moments, thinking about Bridgett before the accident and feeling sad that things are so different now.  Not that there is any point to dwelling on any thoughts like that.  We just move forward.  Bridgett's in there somewhere and she's emerging all of the time.  It just takes time and patience.  Sometimes I hate time and patience!
