Day 297 - Saturday October 6, 2012

We went walking at the house today--all of us--Mark, Tyler, Bridgett, Stephany and me. The funniest things happened...Tyler and Bridgett walked outside first and they were talking about bears sometimes being in the yard.  Tyler said he had his gun (and I had the bear spray).  He then whistled to call a bear like whistling to a dog to come.  Bridgett thought it was funny so she said here bear, here bear, I'm edible, come on bear.  That cracked me up--I'm edible!  So far we have not run into any bears although there has been bear scat at the entrance to the driveway.  Stay away bears is what I say!
