Day 311 - Saturday October 20, 2012

Of course originally Bridgett was unable to read regular sized print, like in a book.  Then months later she was able to read regular print but it fatigued her eyes too much (June - August) and she could not read more than a paragraph at a time.  In September, using reading glasses, she could read a two page non-fiction article in regular print.  By this month the reading glasses are making it harder to read and so she stopped using them and she is reading the two page article easily without glasses and no fatigue.  So also answers questions at the end of her reading about content and vocabulary.  She reads about various subjects, to include the Hubble telescope, lizards, salivary glands, spiders, how fax machines work etc.  It's fun to see Bridgett's progress and very encouraging as well.
