Day 314 - Tuesday October 23, 2012

Every day Bridgett is supposed to watch something on TV while wearing pinhole glasses with the right eye (the better eye) patched.  Initially we had a problem with this because Bridgett hasn't wanted to watch TV at all--not even movies.  The only thing she has watched since the accident was 45 minutes (WOW!) of the Olympics, the equestrian events.  Anyway, the occupational therapist suggested that we watch something on youtube on the ipad and that has worked out so well!  So, now everyday we watch something on the ipad, usually just for five minutes but up to ten minutes.  Bridgett's favorite clips are sports (shocking, right!).  Her very favorites are rugby or something with Michael Jordan.  We branch out to other things like figure skating, bull riding, etc. but we seem to get back to Michael Jordan the most, followed by rugby.
