Day 328 - Tuesday November 6, 2012

Bridgett was very focused on the fact that she wanted to vote in this election, even if she only voted for president.  Several months ago I took her into the election office in Provo and helped her sign up for absentee voting.  Her ballot showed up weeks ago and she voted and we mailed it back in.  Actually the Utah ballot is pretty simple because you can choose to vote a straight party ticket, which she did.  Today we talked about the election but she did not want to watch any of the TV coverage.  However, she did ask questions and did talk to everyone in the family about voting.  We were somewhat distracted during the afternoon as I got a call from one of Arrianne's friends saying that she had collapsed at school and the paramedics had been called.  It took a while to get information, but it turns out they said she was having a complex migraine headache; she hasn't had migraines before so this in new.  She declined going to the hospital so her friends took her home and stayed with her until Jenn showed up to stay with her.  Jenn stayed several hours; Tyler came and picked up the boys and so they both just rested on the couch after that.  Later in the evening Jenn headed home and one of Arrianne's friends picked her up and took her to vote.  Arrianne was determined to vote no matter what.  By evening I was exhausted and went to bed early as did Bridgett.  Everyone else stayed up to watch the outcome of the elections. I told them...if we win wake me up, otherwise let me sleep.
