Day 349 - Tuesday November 27, 2012

So I forgot to mention this yesterday......I picked up Arrianne from school at about 5:00 and by the time we got back to the hotel it was just the same time of Bridgett's wreck almost a year ago.  I sat in the car thinking how light it was outside and how crazy that the guy didn't see her.  I said something to Arianne and then we just sat and cried for a bit.  It's almost been a year....in just a little over two weeks.  It's weird to be here in Provo, thinking about it.  Of course, it is so wonderful to have our little Bridgett alive and doing so good but it is a weird feeling thinking about it and thinking how different things were just a year ago.  I took Bridgett and Stephany both to Monroe today to see Dr. Faith Christensen.  Of course, we had the usual two hour drive which went pretty well.  Both girls had a great appointment. Faith was able to make some adjustments for Bridgett but then spend most of her time working on brain function.  This is the most brain work she has been able to do.  Afterwards she worked on Stephany and tested supplements for us as well as foods for allergies.  She said that Stephany's immune system is just shot (which we knew) and that she doesn't have any reserves to draw on so that is why she is so tired.  She suggested some new supplements for us to try out and all in all I thought it was an amazing appointment.  We headed back to Provo and amazingly Bridgett listened to music on Stephany's ipod (synced to the radio in the car) the entire time home except for the last five minutes.  She has not been able to listen to this much music yet so that was definitely encouraging!  The drive back went really well and both girls did much better than they did on the ride there.
