Day 338 - Friday November 16, 2012

Part of Bridgett's every day protocol is supposed to include spinning on a chair for 2 minutes to help reset the vestibular system.  She is supposed to do this 8 times a day but she became so dizzy after just once a day we weren't able to do it with her for the past several months. She became so dizzy she was close to vomiting and remained dizzy for hours.  Just a couple of weeks ago she finally got to the point where she can spin herself for six revolutions (as opposed to having us spin her) once a day and tolerate it.  However, yesterday and today she was dizzy again.  I mentioned this to one of her advising team late this afternoon and they think she might have fluid in one of her ears; she has been complaining about an earache lately.  We had better get that checked out before flying on Tuesday! Since it was too late to run to the clinic today and we are driving to Provo tomorrow, it will have to wait until Monday.  She does have a primary care physician in American Fork that we can call and talk to and hopefully we can get her in on Monday.  For now, we will be back to skipping on the spinning activity.
